Reusable Diapers Bumgenius
Those of you that cloth diaper...?
Do you use the flannel or bamboo reusable wipes, or do you use disposable wipes?
I am debating between the two. Part of me feels like using reusable wipes only makes sense since I'll be CDing with bumGenius 3.0's, so washing won't be an issue. But on the same token, the wipes are usually the "dirtier" part, so I have heard disposables are better.
If I were to go with disposable wipes, I would use the kind that breaks up when flushed down the toilet, so the waste/environment factor isn't hindered.
If you use the reusable wipes, any brand you'd recommend or even a SAHM that makes them and sells them on eBay or something? Is bamboo better than flannel, or does it not really matter? Also, how many reusable wipes should I invest in? I have 32 bG's right now, with my goal being to do the wash every 2-3 days.

I use a combination of flannel wipes and baby face cloths as wipes.
When we get a poopy diaper, we usually take a piece (or multiple pieces if it's really bad) of ordinary toilet paper to clean up the majority of the mess. We chuck that in the toilet at the same time as we scrape out the poo into the toilet. The we finish cleaning her up with wipes. We wet one wipe at a time using a squirt bottle that contains about 2 cups of water, 1 squirt of baby oil and 1 drop baby soap. This has worked well for us.
When we go out, I have a small plastic container that I fill with wipes that I pre-moisten. Everything goes into the wetbag with the dirty diaper. (I don'tseparatet the inserts formtheh diaper when I'm out, that way it keeps messes more contained - I separate inserts and diaper once I get home)
I don't think there is a need for disposable wipes - although we have some stashed intheh car that were given to us just in case we ever run out of my premoistened ones in the middle of nowhere!
