When baby pouches are mentioned it brings to mind the pouch that the mother kangaroo carries her babies around in. They have a sleeker look, and they are lightweight and compact and can easily be folded and put into a diaper bag when not needed.
Fleece baby pouches fit more snugly than the ones that don't stretch or the cotton ones that do stretch. The stomach-to-stomach position is easy to do with a fleece pouch. Pouches are easy to get the baby in and out of and they are easier to learn to use. They are convenient to use when breastfeeding as well. They are light and can be stored in the diaper bag. Many dads like the pouches. Babies from infants to large toddlers can fit in a pouch, as they are adjustable enough to allow this flexibility. Preemie babies can be carried with a pouch.
Though they are comfortable, easy to use and adjust, baby pouches don't offer as discreet of breastfeeding as some other carriers. They aren't as adjustable as some carriers either. On the other hand a baby pouch lets you and the baby be close and cuddle and you don't need to learn to tie it or learn ring techniques.
Baby pouches give support to the baby and the parent. It helps you get a better hold of your child. It can be washed with the baby clothes. Though it can be used in a simple way it allows you to carry your baby in positions which suit not only small infants who like to sleep but larger toddlers who are just too tired to keep walking.
The baby pouch is comfortable and convenient. It is an easy way to carry your baby around and give him the closeness that babies need to grow properly physically and emotionally. You can get other things done while carrying baby in the pouch and talking to him, which gives him more of a chance to development his verbal skills. Whether you get a fleece or cotton pouch you'll enjoy carrying your little one around init and having him or her snuggling close to you.
Pouches are something that was around before people decide to use them. They are good for babies and parents. Just look at the kangaroo, pouches have worked for them for a long time.
