Anyone have the Britax Marathon carseat? Is it too big for a small car?
This is the one I want to get because of the larger weight and height restrictions, but I'm just worried that it'll be too big for my small car. I have a ford focus. Anyone else have this carseat in a small car?
I've had a Marathon rear-facing and front-facing in a Volkswagen Beetle and a Honda Civic, and it fit snugly behind the passenger seat in both cases. If you regularly have a tall passenger riding with you it could be a problem, but based on my experience it will work fine otherwise.
It's not much deeper than a smaller carseat, but it is taller and a bit wider.
