I have an 8 month old daughter and I am trying to decide on convertible car seats. I am deciding between the Britax marathon and the Britax roundabout. My only concern is the roundabout only goes up to 40 pounds. My daughter has always been on the small side born at 6lbs 7 oz and is now about 15 and a half pounds. I just am trying to make sure i get a seat that will last til she is at least 4 so i am wondering what most babies weigh around 4 years old? Also, anyone have the roundabout or marathon and have any feedback?
yes i know they have to be in a booster but you aren't supposed to use a booster until they are four so thats why i want to make sure that she can stay in her convertible until she is 4.
Definitely go with the Marathon! Most seats are outgrown by height before weight and the Marathon has a taller shell, so your child will ride in it much longer!
We have 2 and love them!
